The Senior Analyst, FP&A (Marketing, R&D) will be the business partner for our Marketing and Research & Development teams within the company. The role is responsible forbudgeting/forecasting, tracking and analyzing financial results for these areas.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Working with internal business partners to track and analyze Operating Expenses for these groups. This will include annual Budget, 3-/5-year Strategic Plans, and comparisons vs Budget, Prior Year and previous forecasts. Working with our Finance & Accounting team to track actual spend by cost types. Reporting on any variances to Senior Management that may include the Executive Leadership Team.
  • Provide support to R&D team on any project related financial modeling.
  • Owning Key Performance Indicators and Scorecard metrics that pertain to the particular group's goals and measurements of success.
  • Monthly reporting of Sales and Category Markets' performance vs targets, Budget, Prior Year, etc.
  • Supporting the Senior Manager of FP&A for Americas/Marketing/R&D with special projects, analysis, and reporting. This may include recurring monthly reporting, ad-hoc financial analysis, supporting the Global Strategic Plan and Budget process, as well as preparation of Executive and Board related materials.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting and / or Finance
  • 3-7 years of experience in Corporate Finance, preferably in a multi-national environment
  • Prior FP&A experience reporting, analyzing and forecasting operating costs.
  • Financial modeling experience
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint experience and skillset. Board (BFC), QlikSense and PowerBI a plus.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Executive and senior business management
  • Initiative, ability to work independently, results oriented, "can do" attitude.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Travel up to 10% (domestic and international).
