Walter Scott - We are a long-only public equities manager, established in 1983. We manage ~$80bn, primarily for institutional clients but also for intermediaries, where we have institutional-like relationships. Most clients invest in our Global or International (world ex-US) investment strategies. Approximately half of our clients are based in the US. Purpose - To support the business of Walter Scott by contributing to client service, business development, and consultant relations in the US. Key Responsibilities -
Successful execution will require extensive travel - mainly within the US. Experience - at least 5 years of relevant industry experience. Academic/Professional Qualifications - (or equivalent) - FINRA SIE, Series 7, and Series 63 preferred, or will need to be obtained within a year of joining. Technical Skills, Knowledge, Systems Knowledge - (and associated skill level) - Proficient with industry-standard software inc.
