Description
The Department of Medicine is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Associate Director to oversee program development, operations, and financial management in alignment with the department's mission and goals. This role requires a dynamic leader who can drive initiatives forward in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Reporting to the Director, the Associate Director will lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of programs and projects, ensuring timely completion within budget. Responsibilities include strategic planning, financial oversight, grant writing, marketing, and communications, as well as serving as a key liaison with university leadership, external partners, and donors. The role also involves supervising staff, overseeing hiring and performance management, and ensuring compliance with UCLA, state, and federal regulations. In addition, the Associate Director will manage departmental operations, support faculty with research and administrative initiatives, and play a critical role in identifying funding opportunities. This position requires exceptional organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills to drive efficiency and innovation. Annual range: $102,500-$227,700 Qualifications
