Our Clarke Powered Solutions - is currently looking for a Parts & Service Customer Support Representative to keep up our level of commitment to customer service. In this role, rep Interprets customer needs to fulfill the diesel engine parts and service needs of the customer.
What are the Duties?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Customer focus - Customer Relationship
Solicit sale of new or additional engine parts or services.
Utilizes computer system for entering and updating customer orders, maintaining accurate inventory, and closing invoices to customers.
Strong data entry and computer skills are a must.
Communicating with customers over phone, on computer and in person if it applies.
Handle parts & service inquiries.
Work with Warehouse operations and inventory Management to resolve inventory issues at the location.
While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to write an accurate, descriptive, and clear parts/service order.
Ability to effectively work in a team environment.
Ability to work with team on Continuous Improvement.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and
2 years related experience as a Service Advisor or Customer Service Representative a plus
A technical background with diesel engines will be helpful.
Must be able to obtain DOT medcard
PHYSICAL and SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit. The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs with assistance.
Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions. The employee is occasionally required to safely operate warehouse equipment including 2-wheel and 4-wheel carts, forklift truck, etc.
The associate must be able to read and write reports.
