CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Construction Superintendent to join our Power & Manufacturing - Advanced Energy & Manufacturing Team at a client site in Niskayuna, NY.

The Construction Superintendent will act as the primary point of contact at the project site ensuring on-site field administration, supervision, inspection, and technical management for all construction operations. This key role will coordinate and execute the work, along with the Project Manager, in accordance with the plans/specifications and remain consistent with the project schedule. Our Construction Superintendent must possess complete working knowledge of all project plans, specifications, contracts, purchase orders, and all other project related documents and monitor job site control reporting measures and site specific safety programs in accordance with applicable policies and procedures, OSHA requirements, and local, state, and federal laws.

REQUIREMENTS

    High School Diploma required; Associate's Degree in construction preferred, or equivalent industry experience
  • 10+ years of construction superintendent experience in industrial, mechanical or electrical construction
  • Experience with industrial and/or heavy commercial projects ranging in size from $5M to $20M
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills, with the ability to exercise discretion and make independent judgments
  • Extensive travel may be required based on the location of the project sites
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite, including Microsoft Project
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required
  • Ability to understand and interpret client's contracts
  • Strong ability to work in a team environment
  • Must provide a high level of service and responsiveness to client and co-workers
  • Valid driver's license required


SALARY RANGE:

$30.00 - $40.00

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
