AV Technician

Job Description:

Ryan Companies US, Inc. has an opportunity for an Audio-Visual Technician in the Des Moines area!

This individual will be responsible for maintenance of presentation tools and collaboration systems, IT support and a multitude of facility related projects for a Class A single-tenant office building.

Some things you can expect to do:

• Trouble shoot and perform routine and preventative maintenance on Audio/Visual equipment and systems.

• Provide technical support of Audio/Visual equipment.

• Manage conference room reservation requests including furniture and Audio/Visual equipment setup.

• Large event coordination and management.

• Audio/Visual project management.

Job Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in set-up and troubleshooting audio, visual and multimedia equipment.

• Advanced technical knowledge of systems like SVSi, Q-SYS, Dante, LAN technologies, projectors, sound systems, monitors, and signal routing is required.

• Strong computer skills and the ability to manage, organize, and offer solutions in a team environment.

• Ability to work from a ladder and lift 50 pounds.

• IT Network Experience.

• Certified Technology Specialist through AVIXA.

• Office administration experience.

• Exceptional customer service skills with all levels of management.

• Efficient communication skills.

Compensation:

The base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission and/or an incentive program.
