Job Type: Regular Full Time

Location: Hybrid/Horsham, PA

Shift: Monday through Friday 9:30 am to 6:00 pm

Job Summary:

This position work closely with Criminal and Civil Law Agencies, Prosecution and Defense Attorneys, and Procurement Companies to coordinate Expert Services for all NMS Labs Forensic Toxicologists staff and laboratory analysts. This position reports to Expert Services Supervisor or his/her designee.

Requirements:

  • 2 -4 years' experience in a client services office setting or related laboratory experience.
  • High School Diploma required associate's degree preferred
  • Microsoft Office products expert level

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for protecting, securing, and proper handling of all confidential data held by NMS Labs to ensure against unauthorized access, improper transmission, and/or unapproved disclosure of information that could result in harm to NMS Labs or our clients.
  • Follow department processes to deliver the appropriate response to clients
  • Highly detailed oriented; Perform a quality review of all work to ensure accuracy of process and documentation
  • Reviews LIMS and reports to identify personnel involved in analytical testing for purposes of possible deposition/testimony
  • Prepares affidavits/ declarations and coordinates the signature process with appropriate NMS personnel
  • Generates litigation package from LIMS systems
  • Prepares serum to blood alcohol conversion reports on behalf of the toxicologists' group
  • Maintains regular and reliable attendance
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Ability to comprehend regulations and SOPs and apply them to work operations
  • Ability to be a team player, working together to complete tasks in the most effective and efficient way.
  • Ability to interpret contracts, legal documents, legislations and statues on local, state and federal levels
  • Ability to Prioritize work, adapt to changes and be flexible.
  • Ability to develop business relationships and foster cooperation

Physical Demands

  • Ability to talk, hear, stand, reach with hands and arms, and use hands and fingers to manipulate instrument/equipment controls, computer keyboard, objects, tools or controls.
  • Able to move from one work location to another to sit and stand, sometimes for extended periods of time.
  • Specific vision abilities (with correction) include color, distance, peripheral, depth, and the ability to adjust focus
