Description MaineHealth Surgical Cancer Care Services is looking for anexperiencedNurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) interested in joining our busy surgical practice in Portland, Maine. The position we seek to fill will support Endocrine and General Surgical Oncologists. This team of 4 Surgeons and 3 Ambulatory APPs care for patients in their office at 887 Congress Street. MaineHealth Surgical Services is a busy multi physician surgical specialty practice. The NP/PA works with a team of physicians, APPs, RNs, MAs/ANAs to support the clinical needs of the practice. We have a collaborative and supportive team that is excited to welcome a new team member and facilitate their education, and to build upon an already established skill set. This position will involve seeing new patient consults, triage, seeing post-ops and follow up appointments, giving operative education, and some in-office procedures, including FNA, Ultrasound Guided injections.
