Reporting to the IET Financial Aid IT Manager, this position is responsible for application development of all Financial Aid Student Information Systems (SIS). Analyze business requirements, design, develop, troubleshoot, deploy, maintain, secure and support web-based applications in support of the Financial Aid Oce mission. Collaborate with functional users; remain informed regarding changes, upgrades, and issues related to all applicable computer software and hardware. Work as part of the development team under guidance of the Lead Programmer and use independent judgment to ensure and guarantee the security, eciency and availability of all Financial Aid Applications.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related eld and / or equivalent combination of experience / training.
* Experience developing Object Oriented applications
* Experience programming in C#.
* Experience developing web applications. Experience using.NET 2.0 or higher.
* Professional Object Oriented programming experience.
* Experience with and understanding of relational databases, SQL, and various methods to consume databases.
* Advanced knowledge of software development methodologies, patterns, strategies, lifecycle, and the skills to t them into desired scenarios.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working with users from different background and skill levels.
* Experience documenting requirements, dening specications and communicating user instructions.
* Skills using current technology tools like Visual Studio, Version Control, programming skills, best practices, languages and industry trends.
* Communication skills to describe proposed solutions and uncover design and solution shortcomings.

Work Environment
Hire MUST be located in-state. (Out of state applicants will be considered but must relocate instate if hired). This position can be done primarily remote with the expectation that the employee must be available to come on site should management deem it necessary for emergencies, meetings, support activities, etc. No reimbursement of travel expenses, travel time not considered work hours.
