Requisition ID:75058 Description You'll join a uniquely collaborative, multi-discipline engineering community working across our domestic design centers creating cutting edge products for global markets. Your team will be part of a larger layout group that also provides HBT, SAW and BAW Filters, SOI, CMOS and MCM layout services. In this position, you will have the opportunity to make a uniquely large impact on the success of the company by working closely with multiple teams and functions throughout the organization. Responsibilities * Provide leadership building and growing our custom IC layouts to support Skyworks MSB products. * Lead a team working closely with RF and analog IC design engineers to layout and verify ICs for wireless consumer electronic products * Effectively communicate with engineering teams to meet schedules and milestones. * Interface with Silicon IC design engineers and layout teams, in multiple design centers, across multiple time zones * Mentor and train individuals in RF/analog IC layout development using Cadence Virtuoso * Work closely with other leaders to establish and maintain common best practices and workflows across all sites * Effectively communicate with engineering teams to assure the success of the layout project. * Organize, prioritize, and manage logistic on tasks and resource allocations for the multiple projects these layouts go into. * Work with contractors on any performance and development needed to produce first pass layouts. * Coordinate layout staff assignments, review IP layout data, release IP data to enterprise libraries. Required Experience and Skills * BS degree, or equivalent, with at least 8 years of experience in the layout of Silicon and SOI layout designs * Experience using a schematic/netlist driven CAD layout process * Strong leadership skills, a self-starter and team player with ability to learn on the job * Previous IC team leadership experience * Proficient using Cadence Virtuoso and Calibre verification tools * Ability to prioritize and allocate layout resources * Project management experience * Proficient in layout data review and DRC/LVS checking * Excellent communication, organizational and mentoring skills #LI-MS1 The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD$112,500 -$215,900 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
