Perform EKGs, rhythm strips, stress tests, and Holter monitors while working with a dedicated cardiovascular team. Provides high-quality diagnostic electro physiographic exams in accordance to the policies and procedures that are provided by the Lee Health Cardiovascular Department. Technicians must be proficient in EKGs, rhythm strips, stress tests and Holter monitors. The position requires participation in "on call" rotation, available for overtime and be able to work flexible hours and days of the week to include weekends as determined per specific department needs. Requirements Educational Requirements
Heart Central, EMT, or Paramedic experience preferred. State of Florida Licensure Requirements
Proof of American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) at time of hire. Basic department specific EKG certification is required within 6 months of hire date.
