The Brain Stimulation Mechanisms Laboratory (BSML) is seeking a self-motivated applicant to join the Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Research (TMS) Program in the Division of Depression and Anxiety Disorders at McLean Hospital. We aim to understand the neural mechanisms of non-invasive brain stimulation including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), and to leverage this knowledge to improve clinical effectiveness.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
* Collects and organizes patient data
*Maintains records and databases, uses software programs to generate graphs and reports, and prepares data for analysis and data entry
*Recruiting patients for clinical trials, conducts phone interviews and schedules patients for visits.
*Obtains patient study data from medical records, physicians, etc.
*Assists with clinical research studies as per study guidelines and protocols including phlebotomy, MRI, EEG, and TMS.
*Performs administrative support duties as required
*Verifies accuracy of study forms and updates study forms per protocol
*Assists with formal audits of data
*Documents patient visits and procedures
*Assists with regulatory binders and QA/QC procedures.
*Administers and scores questionnaires
*Acts as study resource for patient and family.
*Assists with study regulatory submissions
*Writes consent forms
*Verifies subject inclusion/exclusion criteria
*Presents research study data as posters or talks at scientific conferences.
*Attends and participates in weekly and monthly lab meetings and leads journal club discussions.
*Monitors lab supplies and works with program coordinator for placing orders.

Education:
Bachelor's Degree in relevant field

Experience:
Typically, new graduate with relevant course or project work.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* Careful attention to details.
* Good organizational skills.
* Good communication skills.
* Knowledge of clinical Research Protocols.

* Ability to follow directions.

* All employees must possess basic computer skills to use a variety of electronic or online systems for communication, clinical and administrative purposes.

* Ability to demonstrate respect and professionalism for subjects' rights and individual needs.
