Admissions Office Job Description
This position will reside in Kansas City as a regional representative for Mizzou's Office of Admissions. The position serves as a member of the Admissions Team, managing the assigned recruitment territory to assist in achieving enrollment goals for Mizzou. They will serve as the primary point of contact for students, parents and guidance counselors from Kansas City area. This position will establish and maintain an off-site recruitment office designed to plan, execute and evaluate recruitment activities and high school relations within the assigned territory. They will inform and assist prospective students about the University of Missouri (MIZZOU), academic programs, admission requirements, costs and all facets of attending Mizzou. This includes high school visits and college fairs, answering letters of inquiry from prospective students and maintaining constant personal communication with Kansas City area students, parents and high school counselors. This position requires a home-based office and should not be considered an 8-5 job, it requires nights and weekends on a flexible schedule.
Shift
Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., with extensive evening and weekend hours required. Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications
Strong consideration is given to applicants who have Admissions or recruitment experience. Consideration is also given to those with an undergraduate degree from Mizzou. Initiative, creativity and the ability to work in a flexible environment. High energy and enthusiasm. Anticipated Hiring Range
