Job Description:

Inertial Aerospace is hiring a full-time technician to join our Avionics Repair team. Successful applicant will be self- motivated with exceptional attention to detail and possess the ability to work efficiently both with a team and independently. Position involves testing, troubleshooting and repair of inertial navigation equipment.

Candidate will be expected to troubleshoot and repair inertial navigation systems utilizing computerized test equipment, standard electronic equipment and hand tools along with detailed drawings, schematics, parts lists, and verbal and/or written instructions. Accurate completion of maintenance, inventory, and repair logs is required. Include use of a variety of hand or power tools and test equipment.

Position will require training on first shift for up to 6 months. Once proficient, work hours will change to 2:00pm-10:30pmand a $1.00/hour shift differential will apply.

Preferred Experience:

Experience troubleshooting complex electronic and electromechanical systems is required. Previous experience operating DMM, oscilloscope as well as manual and automated test equipment is expected. Experience in an aviation environment and/or and ISO regulated facility us also beneficial but not a requirement.

Education:

Preferred: Technical Associate Degree with 5+ years of experience.

Minimum: High School diploma or equivalent with documented experience and demonstrated ability to perform assigned technical tasks.

Position Requirements:

Must be legally authorized to work in the USA.

Position is safety sensitive and is subject to pre-employment drug screening, background check, and random drug-testing program after employed.
