Forklift Driver

Staffmark is currently hiring a Forklift Driver in Fort Worth, TX, where you'll be working with a leading logistics company! Pay: $19.60 per hour

Shift: Monday - Thursday, 4 PM - 2 AM

As a Forklift Driver, you'll operate center rider electric pallet jacks to move pallets from dock to dock and assist with order auditing. . Attention to detail is critical, as you'll verify product types, part numbers, quantities, shipping placards, and customer specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Operate powered equipment (forklift, clamp truck, etc.) to move, stock, and stage products.
• Load and unload products, ensuring accuracy in quantities and types of products.
• Conduct inventory checks and maintain accurate records.
• Inspect inbound and outbound products for damage, infestation, and accuracy, ensuring compliance with customer requirements.
• Follow OSHA and MSDS safety standards.
• Report any discrepancies in load accuracy, stability, or product damage.
• Perform daily inspections of equipment and maintain a clean, orderly workspace.
• Assist with physical inventories and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Forklift operator certification or the ability to complete a forklift training program within 30 days of employment
• At least 6 months of warehouse and forklift operation experience
• Ability to operate powered material handling equipment for 80% of your shift
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to follow safety rules and work procedures
• Basic knowledge of warehousing operations
• Must be able to walk, sit, stand, operate equipment, lift, carry, push, and pull between 50-100 pounds as required.
