Water Treatment Operator

Staffmark is excited to present a direct-hire opportunity for a Water Treatment Operator in Osceloa, AR. Shift Details:

• 4 on, 4 off rotating days to nights
• Pay: Based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Obtain and maintain an active Basic Industrial Water Treatment License from the state of Arkansas
• Actively contribute as a positive team member and support collaborative efforts
• Learn and adhere to safety requirements related to water and wastewater systems
• Become familiar with flow diagrams and key system components
• Operate and maintain mechanical, electrical, and energized equipment
• Follow all required emergency procedures for safety
• Assist with maintenance tasks for the water and wastewater systems
• Handle and manage chemicals safely, using proper PPE at all times
• Report any system abnormalities, malfunctions, or damage promptly

Qualifications:

• Ability to make quick, accurate, and safe decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Eagerness to learn, adapt, and apply new knowledge
• Excellent communication skills and team player attitude
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and willingness to work extra hours when needed
• Experience with mobile equipment (Rough Terrain, Man Lift, Forklift, Carry Deck, or Broaderson) is a plus
• Basic computer skills
