Salary range:
Total Negotiated Salary (TNS) calculations includes 75th percentile 3-year Average AAMC salary benchmark for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation ranging from $285,511-$373,046. The posted UC salary scales set minimum pay determined by rank and/or step at appointment. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan, which provides for eligibility for additional compensation. The positions will be at the level of the Health Sciences Clinical Professor Series (Assistant, Associate, Professor). depending upon the candidate's qualifications and will be in the Health Sciences Clinical Series (non-tenure track). Criteria for the Professor in the Health Sciences Series: Clinicians interested in pursuing an academic career in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with expertise in cancer rehabilitation subspecialty will be given the opportunity to grow in a dynamic department. The cancer rehabilitation specialist will be part of the UCI's growing comprehensive Supportive Oncology program. Our team includes a group of innovative, forward-thinking individuals with high standards of teaching, research, and patient care. The department provides care in UCI Health clinical locations. The team provides inpatient consultation services and ambulatory care services for a diverse population in the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation clinics at UCI Health and affiliated hospitals. The supportive Oncology team will also provide care to patients with a broad variety of malignancies including hematologic, neurologic, and solid organ tumors in the UCI Acute Rehabilitation Hospital. The clinician will also be a part of the larger general rehabilitation team caring for patients with a variety of rehab diagnoses in a variety of settings. The PM&R cancer rehabilitation specialist will support the multidisciplinary oncology program and engage in clinical collaboration with the oncology team for all patients who need cancer rehabilitation.
