Salary range:
The salary range for this series is $53,100-$188,200. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. Application Window Open date: February 14, 2025 Next review date: Saturday, Mar 1, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Monday, Jun 30, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description Specialist positions are occasionally available throughout the year in the Institute for Memory Impairments and Neurological Disorders (UCI MIND) at the University of California, Irvine. These are typically grant-funded positions under the sponsorship of various faculty members. The ideal candidate should be self-driven and motivated, with neuroscience or translational research experience strongly preferred. Positions are dependent upon extramural funding. Rank will be determined based on qualifications and experience. Term appointments are based on performance and availability of funding. Qualifications Basic qualifications

Junior Specialists - Should possess a Baccalaureate degree (or equivalent degree) or equivalent research experience. Assistant Specialists - Should possess a Master's degree (or equivalent degree), or 5 yrs. of experience. Associate Specialists - Should possess a Master's degree (or equivalent degree) or 5-10 yrs. of experience.
