SUMMARY
Quality Technician/QMS Coordinator position is a full-time role in the Quality engineering department. The job details managing Senior Bartlett's LPA software and document control systems for its' IATF and ISO certifications. The position will work in close proximity to the Quality department, Engineering teams, and other Production resources to ensure QMS systems are in compliance. Participation in audits and certifications will be provided during on-the-job training.
KEY RESULT AREAS
- Internal/External Quality Issues
- Assist in root-cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions. Additional quality support for the operations' teams. Understanding of GD&T, 6 sigma, 8D analysis, 5 - Why, amongst other methods to facilitate corrective actions and process improvement, are all areas role will be trained and gain experience in.
- Internal Audit Program & QMS
- Maintiain internal audit program and perform audits as scheduled. Ensure all non-conformances are closed properly per Senior's QMS.
- LPA/Document Control/MRB
- Maintain LPA Admin system with assigning non-conformances and maintain schedule. Update documents through the appropriate process. Material review board owership as it relates to non-conforming supplier material.
- Continuous Improvement
- Collect data and perform analysis inorder to improve supplier's current processes. Work with quality engineering as support to implement changes, which effectively improve the QMS. Facilitate the need for project activities that support company's strategic objectives.
- PPAP Documentation and APQP launch support
- Assistance in PPAP documentation as required for changes to current supplied components. Assist program launch initiatives by supporting APQP assignments and supplier validation requirements
- Data collection/Project Assistance
- Teaming with other materials, maintenance, operations, and personnel departments in administrative activities, data collection, and/or assistance on project detail.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree with a focus in an engineering field
- Technical degree and experience will be considered as well.
EXPERIENCE
- 1 year of quality experience in manufacturing/automotive setting preferred.
- PPAP, 5-why's, 8D methods experience.
