We are seeking a skilled and motivated SAP Basis Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing SAP environments, strong technical expertise in system architecture and operations, and a collaborative approach to supporting enterprise IT initiatives. This role involves ensuring the optimal performance, reliability, and scalability of SAP systems in alignment with business objectives.

Responsibilities:

* Administer and maintain SAP environments, ensuring system availability, performance, and scalability

* Perform installation, upgrades, patches, and configurations of SAP systems (ECC, HANA, etc.)

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve system issues and implement enhancements

* Monitor system health and security, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity and IT governance standards

* Provide technical support during project deployments, system migrations, and updates

* Document processes, system changes, and troubleshooting guides to support knowledge transfer and team efficiency

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering/science/information technology discipline: Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
  • OR Master's degree in engineering/science/information technology discipline: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • OR PhD
  • Alternatively, 12+ years of progressive education, training, and/or professional experience may be considered in lieu of formal degree requirements

Preferred Job Requirements

Technical Expertise:

* SAP Basis Administration: Proven experience in the installation, maintenance, and management of SAP systems and related components (SAP ECC, SAP HANA, NetWeaver, etc.)

* Enterprise Systems Management: Experience with SAP ERP product suite operations across multiple environments (Linux, Solaris, Windows)

* System Administration: Minimum 3 years of experience managing Unix-based platforms (preferably Linux and Solaris)

* Configuration and Integration: Proficiency in SAP system configuration, development, and integration with external systems

Implementation & Support Experience:

* Demonstrated success in designing, deploying, and maintaining large-scale enterprise systems and ERP environments

* Experience in supporting SAP HANA and Oracle DBMS, including troubleshooting and performance tuning

* Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and practical experience in system consolidation and service management

Development and Architecture:

* Familiarity with ABAP development, including Business Server Pages (BSP) and UI5/Fiori

* Knowledge of HTML5 and SAP's development environments

* Experience creating Python and/or shell scripts

Collaboration & Communication:

* Close collaboration with IT Technical Leads, Business Process Owners, Cybersecurity teams, and Project Managers to align technical capabilities with business needs

* Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Additional Skills:

* Experience with Kronos Workforce Central, Oracle, or similar enterprise applications is desirable

* Background in enterprise architecture, integration, and troubleshooting of SAP ECC and S/4 installations

* Knowledge of modern IT practices, such as DevOps and system automation, is a plus
