In the role of Document Control Specialist, we'll count on you to:
- Manage project information, including hard-copy and electronic files
- Co-ordinate information flow between project participants, including subconsultants, and if appropriate between project team and the client
- Attend project meetings and prepare detailed minutes of meetings
- Develop presentations based on input from project team members
- Prepare new project start-up documents per HDR project and quality procedures, including developments of schedules and level of effort estimates
- Develop and track project schedules for meetings and deliverables
- Monitor, update and review financial data
- Prepare draft monthly progress reports
- Track and ensure compliance with contract requirements
- Use processes and tools established on projects
- Assist in costs estimate development and review
- Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in related field
- Previous experience with a consulting/engineering firm
- Familiarity with scheduling software
- Ability to interpret construction schedules
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in project coordination
- Proficiencies with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple long- and short-term tasks simultaneously
- Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving abilities
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
