Description Lincoln HospitalProfessional - Nonclinical This is a Coastal Region position with a focus on Lincoln and Mid Coast Hospitals. The position is on-site between those two locations but can also include travel to Pen Bay and Waldo. TheOperational Transformation Specialistserves as a proactive coach, and facilitative lead of improvements by providing a wide range of needed expertise. The Operational Transformation Specialist seeks to build relationships with leaders at all levels of the region, including clinicians, front-line staff and other stakeholders (including patient feedback) to coordinate systems that produce optimal organizational process outcomes. This role supports the planning, execution and monitoring of processes and systems that support the MaineHealth Strategic Plan Scorecard, to translate strategic goals into tactical action plans. The Operational Transformation Specialist also deploys use of business acumen, interpersonal savvy, critical thinking, systems thinking, problem-solving and data analytics skills. This position serves as a facilitator of change management and project management principles and methodologies to address opportunities for improvement while promoting stakeholder engagement in solution development. In addition, this role teaches, coaches and advises team members on continuous improvement. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) 1. Education: Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred. 2. License/Certifications: Lead Six Sigma White or Yellow Belt preferred. 3. Experience: One year of healthcare experience preferred. Experience with strategic alignment, process improvement, change management methods, project facilitation, team building, organization/leadership development, employee engagement or other role required. 4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A 5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Skilled at facilitating a group process, building teams and transferring knowledge and skills. Ability to handle medium to large scale projects involving multiple resources and spanning many months.
