The Sherwin-Williams Finance internship is designed to provide you with hands-on experience in Sherwin Williams North America Payroll Operations. The internship features hands on payroll operations experience, where you'll learn the steps involved in end-to-end payroll processing leading to accurate and compliant pay. You will gain meaningful exposure to federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations including wage withholding orders and other mandatory deductions. You will also learn payroll software and systems, such as Dayforce, UKG, Service Now, Oracle, and Microsoft Office products. You will learn how to review information for accuracy and identify errors all while understanding the importance of maintaining a high degree of confidentiality with sensitive employee information and sensitive payroll data. Finally, you'll learn to balance multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment, honing your time management skills. This internship is scheduled to begin March 2025. Year Round: This role requires availability to work up to 7.5 hours per day on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays for a minimum of 15 hours per week and a maximum of 28 hours per week during the school year, with the ability to work at least one (1) year. Additional hours may be available during the summer for a maximum of 37.5 hours per week. Because this role involves access to confidential financial information, the Company has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and to provide similar protections for its clients and potential investments.
