This position is accountable for managing all Warehousing, Shipping, Receiving and Rework activities for the Facility while implementing, maintaining, and supporting continuous improvement in the Five Focus Areas of Operational Excellence: Safety, People, Service, Quality, and Cost. This position is also responsible for maintaining continuous improvement efforts for the facility by using the tools of Six Sigma, focusing on customer needs, and supporting the facility goals of maintaining VPP Certification.

Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm - must be flexible with hours

10% Travel

This position is also eligible for bonus and long-term incentive compensation awards based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company's applicable plans.

Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised.   • Determine and establish procedures, programs and reports to maintain and improve facility efforts in the Five Focus Areas: Safety, People, Service, Quality, and Cost.
  • Determine, oversee and positively effect facility budget.
  • Coordinate and plan work requirements for all areas of the warehouse to ensure all jobs are completed in an efficient manner and orders are shipped within the appropriate time frames.
  • Supervise and direct Unit Managers and Team Leaders to assure safe, timely, cost effective shipping and receiving methods.
  • Direct and oversee those activities that ensure the facility is capable of meeting all pertinent requirements (regulatory, corporate, group, supply chain, etc.).
  • Identify shipment consolidation opportunities in order to minimize freight costs.
  • Recommend changes and/or enhancements to warehousing systems.
  • Ensure shipments are distributed in compliance with V.O.C. State regulatory laws.
  • Ensure hazardous material shipments are properly handled, loaded, packed and marked in accordance with DOT regulations.
  • Maintain records and provide in the disposition of customer returns and/or damages.
  • Analyze workforce requirements.



Minimum Requirements:



  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field or three (3) years equivalent business experience
  • Must have three (3) years of managerial experience in an operations, warehouse, and or transportation business environment
  • Must have three (3) years of experience in leadership role(s), supervising others, or leading teams
  • Must have proven experience of developing and sustaining a high-performance work team
  • Must have prior experience working with regional and divisional leadership and support teams



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Have knowledge of continuous improvement tools such as Lean and Six Sigma
  • Have knowledge of logistics and supply chain operations
  • Have at least a Master's degree in business or related field
  • Have Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt, Black Belt, etc.)
