Job Description

Torch Technologies is seeking an experienced Aegis Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support Missile Defense System (MDS) Ground Test (GT) scenario design and planning for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). The selected candidate will play a critical role in designing and developing test scenarios that assess our nation's defense systems using Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) and simulation tests. This position requires deep expertise in the Aegis Weapon System, a strong analytical mindset, and the ability to contribute to cutting-edge tool development.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze test requirements and constraints to support MDS Ground Test (GT) scenario design.
• Utilize Aegis expertise to guide test development and ensure effective system assessments.
• Contribute to the design of HWIL and simulation-based test environments.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop, refine, and execute test scenarios.
• Provide input for the development of advanced testing tools and methodologies.
• Track and manage multiple tasks while maintaining high-quality results within tight deadlines.
• Present technical findings and recommendations to stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of test results and insights.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of experience with the Aegis Weapon System.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret system behaviors and interactions.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
• Highly motivated and committed to delivering high-quality work on time.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
• Active SECRET clearance required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience with Tableau for data visualization and analysis.
• Background in assessing MDS element Key Test Parameters (KTPs).
