  • Shift(s) would be scheduled between Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm. Clinic is closed on weekends and major holidays.
  • Must have availability for at least 48 hours per four-week schedule.
• Pay Range*: $62.01/hr-$77.94/hr

Position Summary

The RN, Registered Nurseprovides safe, cost-effective patient care through the health experience, according to established standards utilizing the nursing process, within the scope of practice of Registered Nursing, for Radiology Therapeutic at MemorialCare Long BeachMedical Center.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job:

• Work closely with the Radiation Oncologist and Radiation Oncology team to provide comprehensive cancer care to patients that require radiation treatments or procedures related to Radiation Therapy.
• Collaborates with all the multidisciplinary centers and clinics in the Todd Cancer Institute.
• Navigate patient through their radiation treatments and other oncology disciplines that are involved with the patient's cancer care.
• Schedule and monitors surgical and procedural radiation therapy treatments such as High Dose Rate treatments, rectal spacing, fiducial seed placement and Intraoperative Radiation Therapy.
• Manage patient flow in the Clinic for Consults and follow up patients. Rooming patients, doing vitals and intakes, and provide radiation therapy-based education to patients and their families.

*Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications.
