Compensation Range: $18/hour, based on experience. Central Territory Headquarters LI Job Objective: This will be a part-time, summer job that will assist the Marketing Department with their social media and general marketing communication efforts. . This will include social media, content development, asset development, special event support, internal training support, and miscellaneous administrative functions. Editing, creating and posting content to different social media platforms Planning, creating and adhering to content calendars. Utilizing the Hootsuite social media management platform to schedule social media posts and run reports. Help plan/implement social media campaigns Photography, and asset or video development appropriate for social media. Assisting with internal special events. Assisting with internal training support. Minimum Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the minimal education, experience, knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required for this position. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Experience: Currently enrolled in a post-secondary educational program in marketing, communications, social media Certifications: None Skills: Proficiency with MicroSoft Word and Excel Ability to use Canva a plus Ability to speak, write and understand English in a manner sufficient for effective communication with Marketing Communications members. Understanding of protocol and office decorum Ability to meet deadlines Ability to prioritize responsibilities and work Good organizational skills Ability to work independently Supervisory Responsibility: None Physical Requirements: The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the duties of this job. Physical requirements include: Lifting, pulling and pushing of materials up to 25 pounds occasionally. Requires bending, squatting and walking. Will stand for extended periods of time.
