Georgia Pacific Building Products is seeking a Field Sales Manager to join the Gypsum team in the West Region. This position will specifically serve the Pacific Northwest and will predominantly focus on the Boise, ID and Salt Lake City, UT markets. The primary responsibility of this position is to promote the sales of GP ToughRock and Dens product lines. Identifying and building strategic partnerships with key influencers within the commercial and residential segments will be critical to success. Business growth will be achieved by developing territory plans and executing on customer and product-level strategies. Key performance indicators are protection and growth of market share, improved profitability, and execution of divisional strategies.

Location for Role: This is a remote position with a preference for the candidate to be based out of Boise, ID or Salt Lake, UT metro areas.

What You Will Do

* Direct sales efforts of ToughRock and Dens product lines in residential and commercial markets in the designated sales territory.
* Utilize the Principle Based Management framework to assist in economic and critical thinking.
* Actively work within Salesforce leveraging analytical and enablement tools
* Identify and build relationships with key decision makers for the sale of ToughRock and Dens (i.e., distributors, developers, specifiers, contractors, and design build firms).
* Collaborate with inside sales counterpart on territory specific strategies to promote and sell ToughRock and Dens Products, ensuring continued growth while maximizing profitability.
* Conduct product demonstrations and discuss specific advantages of GP's proprietary products (such as Dens Shield, Dens Armor Plus and Dens Element Barrier System) with key influencers.
* Develop an annual business plan for the territory with collaborative partners and key capabilities.
* Develop a pipeline of opportunities for GP's value-added products and manage them from specification to order fulfillment.
* Be a resource for product and technical information for direct and indirect customers.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

* Valid US driver's license and good driving record
* Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
* Minimum of 3 years of sales experience
* High school diploma or GED
* Experience using Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

What Will Put You Ahead

* Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, building construction, or architecture
* Strong critical and economic thinking skills
* Experience using Salesforce or other CRM platform
* Proficiency in technical or value-added selling
* Experience in the construction industry

For this role, we anticipate paying $90k - $115k per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form
