We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Summer Intern to assist in various administrative tasks as we prepare for the 2nd phase launch of our new webstore. The intern will play a crucial role in supporting cross-functional teams in gathering key data, creating web content, and performing competitive analysis to ensure a smooth launch. This position provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in e-commerce, data analysis, and webstore operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Data Mining for International Customer Information:
- Assist in identifying and mining customer data from existing web-based platforms for international formatting of postal addresses and related logistic data.
- Creating Webstore Links for Product Details:
- Collaborate with the product team to gather relevant product information (images, descriptions, prices, etc.).
- Create and update webstore product links with accurate product details for the launch.
- Ensure links are properly formatted and tested for functionality across different browsers and devices.
- Enhancing Product Dimensions Data:
- Work with the product team to validate and enhance product dimensions (e.g., sizes, weights, measurements).
- Help identify any discrepancies or gaps in current product data.
- Ensure that product information is correctly uploaded to the webstore for an optimal customer shopping experience.
- Competitive Analysis:
- Conduct research on key competitors' e-commerce sites, products, pricing, and strategies.
- Prepare reports outlining competitor strengths and weaknesses to help guide the webstore's launch strategy.
- Analyze trends in the e-commerce industry to support data-driven decision-making.
- Administrative Support:
- Assist the customer support and marketing teams in managing project timelines and deliverables.
- Help organize meetings, maintain documentation, and track project milestones related to the webstore launch.
- Provide general administrative support to ensure that all aspects of the webstore launch are on track.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, E-Commerce, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Basic understanding of e-commerce platforms and web technologies (preferred).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
