Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Lead and manage Paving, Sign, Excavation and Estimating teams to execute all phases of construction projects from preconstruction to completion
- Coordinate with team members and subcontractors to ensure all work is within project scope and specifications
- Coordinate with engineers, inspectors and clients/owner representatives to ensure safe and timely completion of project(s)
- Lead and manage estimators to accomplish project procurement

- Supervise and oversee month end financial forecasting/work in progress.
- Supervise the development of project(s) schedules and monitor production to assure timely, high quality, project completion
- Review daily cost reports and make analysis' to adjust operations as needed
- Responsible for developing a strategic business plan that includes operations, finance, competitor assessment, market assessment and labor needs for the Sign and Construction in the North Division
- Manage the Paving, Excavation and Sign division with the Teams, safety and financials as the highest priority
- Regularly conduct safety meetings and provide assistance to supervision in addressing areas and conditions requiring attention
- Assure all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes and behavior observed
- Oversee the recruitment of new team members and help the Management Team with crew development
- Responsible for the timely completion of a wide range of documents and forms
- Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

- Five plus years of related construction experience with an emphasis on Paving and DOT projects
- Extensive knowledge of construction operations and equipment
- Working knowledge of job cost accounting and estimating
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong prioritization and organizations skills
- Must be customer driven in both private and public markets
- Must display a professional and courteous attitude towards all team members and customers
- Ability to work flexible shifts which include days, nights, weekends and overtime
- Basic computer skills required. Experience with HCSS Heavy Bid/Heavy Job, JDE, MS Project and MS Excel preferred
- Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
