Please consider joining our growing team today! We are looking for an experienced Asphalt Distributor/Water Truck Operator to join our team! Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Perform pre shift inspection of all DOT vehicles operated Applying specialized emulsions to roadways at the specified rate Ability to multitask on a paving operation and communicate Always work safely and take action to prevent any and all unsafe actions and behaviors Must be willing to do some physical labor and other aspects of the paving operation Minimum Qualifications: 2 years' experience in construction asphalt paving is preferred Ability to bend, stoop, lift, push, pull and be on your feet for long periods of time Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check Communicate effectively and work with people in high stress situations Must have a valid class A or B CDL Must have ability to work flexible shifts which include days, nights, some weekends and overtime How To Apply: Knife River is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
