We are looking for a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team as the Mid-Revenue Cycle Coding Supervisor.

In partnership with the manager, this person will provide organizational leadership to a group of 20-25 professional and facility coders, will ensure goals are met in both service and quality, and provide fiscal and HR oversight for the department. This supervisor will directly oversee all day to day operations, lead process improvements projects, recruit and develop coding specialists, assist with the evaluation of clinical documentation in support of code selection, and foster healthy relationships with other leaders as well as promoting those within the department.

Ideal candidates will have a strong background in professional coding of hospital services as well as facility coding experience.

What's Available?

  • 1.0 FTE

  • Monday-Friday days

  • Remote eligible role with expectation to work onsite in La Crosse, WI or Green Bay, WI as business needs permit

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in Health Information Management or Business or a health-related field with evidence of completion of ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS training or Nursing

  • 3-4 years of experience in a healthcare or associated field with supervisory experience or demonstration of increasing responsibilities involving leadership, project management, training or audit experience.

  • Valid Driver's License (DL)

    Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Certified Outpatient Coder (COC) or Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
