Sales Engineer (Distribution) Remote DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: The Sales Engineer will be responsible in establishing, enhancing and managing a specified group of Authorized Distribution accounts for the company. The employee will be responsible to manage these accounts, day to day, and will be the main point of contact to support our business and the distributor relationships. Employee will report to the Distribution Sales Manager.
Secondary Tasks: The following are responsibilities that are required occasionally. 1. Support divisional goals and sales directives 2. Identify customer needs, provide recommendations, implement solutions 3. Departmental assistance and other projects as assigned REQUIREMENTS: Education: Bachelor's Degree in business, mechanical engineering or closely related field Experience: 2+ years experience in OEM sales or related field Job Skills: Proficient in MS Office applications: Microsoft Office, Excel and Power Point. Excellent verbal and communication skills. Strong public speaking and influence skills Strong negotiation skills Strong analytical and problem solving skill Available to travel up to 50% or as required Abilities: Demonstrated ability to act with professionalism and sense of urgency Ability to work with Marketing and Field Sales to accurately forecast and manage future business as well as input to the relevant company systems. Demonstrate the ability to interface well internally, and with customers, including Purchasing, Quality, and Engineering personnel.
