About the Role Woodside's Exploration and new ventures team is looking for a senior petrophysicist to support its activities. The position is within the Discovered Resource Opportunities (DRO) team - DRO activities require the petrophysicist to have the ability to provide fit-for-purpose evaluations of wireline, LWD and core analysis data within short timeframes. In addition, other work scopes will include performing regional studies, often with a very wide range of data types and vintages, a key component of which is supporting QI studies by providing QC'd log data sets. Some international travel may be required. While this position reports into the Head of DRO, a significant part of the role includes supporting other teams within the wider Exploration organization as a shared resource. The successful applicant will also be expected to participate in Peer Reviews and Assists, as well as providing mentoring and coaching to less-experienced staff. Duties & Responsibilities
