About the Role:

  • Develop and implement new and updated reward policies, programs, and practices in alignment with the Total Reward Framework.
  • Collaborate with HR to provide specialized guidance on reward and benefit design, implementation, and industry best practices.
  • Manage remuneration policies and processes for the Woodside Group of Companies, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and corporate governance standards.
  • Lead reward projects to create and implement regional reward policies that align with Woodside's strategy and regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with the HR team to offer expert advice on reward design and implementation.
  • Gather and analyze market data to support the development of reward programs and policies.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and best practices.
  • Foster a culture of rewards and recognition within the organization.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Shape Global HR Policies:Implement innovative global HR policies and reward structures that inspire and motivate our team.
  • Lead Reward Projects:Spearhead exciting reward projects to develop and roll out new and improved regional reward policies, programs, and practices, ensuring they align with Woodside's reward framework and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with HR:Partner with the Human Resources team to provide comprehensive advice and expertise on reward design, implementation, and best practices.
  • Market Insights:Source, analyze, and interpret market data to craft competitive and attractive reward programs and policies.
  • Stay Ahead of Trends:Keep a pulse on internal and external developments in emerging best practices and regulatory requirements, ensuring our policies are always up-to-date.
  • Regional Expertise:Offer specialized regional reward expertise and support to the HR team.
  • Cultivate Reward Culture:Drive a vibrant reward culture within the organization, celebrating achievements and fostering recognition.
  • Project Involvement:Engage in diverse project work as needed, contributing to the dynamic growth of our reward strategies.

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience:5-7+ years of relevant professional experience.


  • Technical Expertise:

    • In-depth knowledge and experience designing and advising on US reward and benefit-related topics.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities.
    • Effective communication skills to explain complex issues, build consensus, and influence programs and processes with stakeholders outside of reward.
    • Proven ability to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and problem-solving skills are crucial.
    • Exposure to practices and policies in a global organization.
    • Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) SAP and SuccessFactors
    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
