We are looking for a highly skilled Network Services Manager to oversee and manage a team supporting the IT infrastructure and network services across multiple government sites. The ideal candidate will leverage ITIL best practices to ensure efficient and effective service delivery, while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement across all associated services.



Job Description

    Responsible for shall be responsible for network IT services and support such as Campus Area Network (CAN) and LAN operations.
  • Maintain the IT infrastructure in a manner compliant with Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA), DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF), and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) guidance.
  • Provide comprehensive administration of all LAN devices to include routers, firewalls, switches, network appliances, storage devices, print servers, end-user devices (e.g., laptops, desktops, zero clients, thin clients, and tablets), and MFDs.
  • Responsible for the administration of the Organizational Unit (OU) within the Microsoft AD Domain.
  • Ensure that all devices are securely configured and tested prior to installation on the LAN.
  • Regularly update devices with vendor patches, security patches, operating system upgrades, firmware upgrades, and new security configurations.
  • Perform backups and test backups to ensure the ability to recover mission-critical information
  • Monitor communications from various Government agencies for applicable directives
  • Develop and maintain site-specific equipment inventory and configuration
  • Coordinate and manage program staff and resources to ensure optimal program execution and that technical, schedule, and cost goals are met.
  • Ensure compliance with program requirements while providing high-quality deliverables.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to program staff, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.


Minimum Requirements

  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience leading a network services team similar in scope and complexity.
  • Progressive experience with Network Engineering, routers and switches and endpoint implementations.
  • An ITIL Foundation Level Certification.
  • Information Assurance Management (IAM) or IAT Level III Certification (CISM, CISSP, GSLC or CCISO).
  • Strong experience in controlling and overseeing program execution, ensuring adherence to cost, schedule, and technical objectives.
  • Experience managing and overseeing staff, including identifying and implementing staffing solutions.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage and resolve issues proactively and make decisions that align with the program's objectives and client expectations.
  • Security Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligiblity required.


Desired Experience/Certifications

  • A minimum of five years of experience operating and maintaining network services for COOP sites.
  • Relevant technical BS degree
