Are you a creative communicator with a passion for making a difference? We have an exciting opportunity at MaineHealth for a Communications Specialist to join our team in a part-time, hybrid role. In this position, you'll have the flexibility to work both remotely and in-office, contributing your skills to support our mission of improving healthcare for the communities we serve.

This 20-hour, part-time role offers a competitive hourly pay rate between $24.32 and $28.61, depending on your experience. Please note, this position is not benefit-eligible.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Bachelor's Degree required, with an emphasis in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or related field preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: N/A
  3. Experience: One year of progressive experience in marketing, planning, communications, public relations, market research, or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience in a healthcare setting required.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A
  5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Strong written and oral communication skills.
