About the Position
The MaineHealth Cancer Care (MHCC) invites Classical Hematologistswith interest in Bleeding and Coagulation Disorders to join our dynamic team at MHCC - South Portland, Maine. This is a fantastic opportunity to practice comprehensive hematology care in a rapidly expanding, supportive environment. The position will be equally divided between practice of Classical Hematology at MHCC-South Portland and care of patients with bleeding disorders and coagulopathies at the MaineHealth Bleeding Disorders Center- Scarborough.

• Tertiary Support and Academics: Inpatient care at the Maine Medical Center (MMC). MMC is the state's leading tertiary care hospital with 700 licensed beds, a Level I Trauma Center and an affiliate of Tufts University School of Medicine with a full complement of residencies and fellowships. New Hematology-Oncology fellowship program.
• Comprehensive Patient Support: Work alongside dedicated pharmacists, nurse navigators, social workers, palliative care providers, and allied staff within a well-equipped on-site infusion center.
• Flexibility & Balance: Full-time position involves 4 days of outpatient care and 1 day of non-patient facing administrative time. Attractive call schedule.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Successful completion of residency/fellowship in oncology or hematology-oncology.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in oncology or hematology-oncology.
• New graduates and early-career professionals are strongly encouraged to apply.
