Classical Hematologist/Coagulation Specialist Opportunity at MaineHealth Cancer Care - South Portland About the Position The MaineHealth Cancer Care (MHCC) invites Classical Hematologistswith interest in Bleeding and Coagulation Disorders to join our dynamic team at MHCC - South Portland, Maine. This is a fantastic opportunity to practice comprehensive hematology care in a rapidly expanding, supportive environment. The position will be equally divided between practice of Classical Hematology at MHCC-South Portland and care of patients with bleeding disorders and coagulopathies at the MaineHealth Bleeding Disorders Center- Scarborough. - MaineHealth Bleeding Disorders Center: The only center in Maine providing a complete range of care for screening, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with hemophilias, other congenital bleeding disorders as well as thrombophilias.
- Tertiary Support and Academics: Inpatient care at the Maine Medical Center (MMC). MMC is the state's leading tertiary care hospital with 700 licensed beds, a Level I Trauma Center and an affiliate of Tufts University School of Medicine with a full complement of residencies and fellowships. New Hematology-Oncology fellowship program.
- Comprehensive Patient Support: Work alongside dedicated pharmacists, nurse navigators, social workers, palliative care providers, and allied staff within a well-equipped on-site infusion center.

Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Successful completion of residency/fellowship in oncology or hematology-oncology.
