BLUEHAWK is seeking a Financial Analyst in support of developing intelligence reports and analytic products consistent with the Office of the Director of National Intelligence tradecraft and integrity standards. The goal of this support is to successfully process and analyze threat data and produce actionable intelligence to proactively target, identify, and disrupt known or suspected individuals, illicit financial networks or informal value transfer systems (IVTS)/unregistered money services businesses (MSB) who may pose a threat to national security.

Responsibilities

    Perform multivariate analysis relying on highly sophisticated software to employ complex algorithms to rapidly process bulk data and map out relationships that investigators can use to draw meaningful insights in order to advance investigations.
  • Perform research and analysis of open source and social media.
  • Provide in-depth proactive and reactive analysis and operational support on individuals, networks, and entities: Proactive - on-going and ad-hoc initiatives that are created by analytical units and seek to address identified gaps and specific threats. Reactive - analysis performed on individuals, networks, or entities at the request of the Government
  • Perform research and analysis of information found on public/open source databases such as Dunn and Bradstreet, Accurint, Lexis Nexis, etc.
  • Trace, analyze and utilize chain analysis reactor and other tracing tools
  • Research international and domestic law enforcement interdictions and disruptions of illicit financial facilitators, including weapons trafficking and bulk cash smuggling.


Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience relevant to the specific category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
  • Bachelor's degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
  • Must hold an active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
  • Ability to produce timely, logical, and concise analytic reports, documents, assessments, studies, and briefing materials in formats including Microsoft Office tools (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Demonstrates ability to work semi-independently with oversight and direction.
  • Demonstrates ability to use logic when evaluating and synthesizing multiple sources of information.
  • Demonstrates ability to communicate complex issues clearly in a concise and organized manner both verbally and non-verbally; with strong grammar skills.
