We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee all shop-related production activities. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient and quality production of steel pans, used extensively in modern construction for forming structural systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire production process of manufacturing and reconditioning steel concrete forms.
• Collaborate on new product development by leveraging fabrication expertise to assess designs, improve manufacturability, and ensure efficient production processes.
• Manage and coordinate the activities of the production team to meet production targets and quality standards.
• Lead and train employees in programming fabrication machines, ensuring efficient, accurate, and consistent production processes.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures.
• Collaborate with the management team to ensure the production process aligns with design specifications and industry standards.
• Optimize production processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the production area.
• Manage inventory of materials and equipment.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manage supplier relationships.
• Lead, train, and develop production staff.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Production Manager in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the construction or related industry.
• Strong understanding of steel fabrication, coupled with a builder's mindset-able to analyze designs and determine the most efficient and practical way to fabricate components.
• Knowledge of Pan and Joist construction and industry standards.
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Familiarity with quality control, inventory management, and production planning.
• Proficiency in relevant software and technology.
