Job Title: Outside Machinist Working Leaderman

Location: Lockport, LA

Position Overview: The Outside Machinist Working Leaderman is responsible for directing his/her workforce in the installing machinery components of assigned vessels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Directing his/her workforce in the successful installation of machinery components on assigned vessels.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and work well with other supervisors.
• Must have a strong focus on quality, production, safety, and environmental aspects of work being performed.

Experience:

• Minimum of five (5) years of craft-specific experience performing installing machinery.

Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to interpret standard construction drawings.
• Basic knowledge of Outside Machinist specific processes and techniques.
• Familiar with standard marine practices and general specifications for construction.
