Immigration Paralegal - Minneapolis, MN

Overview:
We are seeking a Paralegal to join our growing and dynamic Immigration Law Department in our Minneapolis office, with the opportunity to work remotely in a hybrid environment. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills, an interest in immigration law, and a passion for helping clients through the immigration process.

Key Responsibilities Include:
* Work closely with attorneys to prepare a variety of employment-based nonimmigrant and immigrant petitions on behalf of employers and foreign nationals including H-1B, L-1, TN, PERMs, I-140, and I-485 petitions.
* Prepare family-based petitions and naturalization applications.
* Communicate directly with clients to gather necessary information and documentation.
* Organize and manage confidential client data, deadlines, and documents.
* Conduct legal research as needed to support case preparation.
* Monitor and track case progress to ensure timely filings and/or responses to USCIS.
* Assist attorneys and other team members with case management, including reporting needs and other case management duties as needed.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* High attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize deadlines.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Adobe, Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Knowledge of immigration-related case management database is a plus.
* 1+ years' experience in immigration law or similar preferred.
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team.

The salary range for this position varies by geographical market. In Minneapolis, the estimated starting annual pay range is $22-$28/hour. The compensation offered will be dependent on the candidate's experience, skills, education, professional background, overall qualifications, and geographic market location.
