Overview:

The Risk Claims & Insurance Analyst is responsible for managing and optimizing database systems, developing reports and dashboards, and analyzing data to support business needs. This role involves maintaining the claim system and related interfaces, ensuring data integrity, and supporting best practices through technology. The analyst will also evaluate and implement new systems, partner with internal and external stakeholders, and serve as a subject matter expert.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Four year college degree or equivalent experience in lieu of degree as outlined below.
  • Qualifications: A minimum of four (4) years of relevant technical or business work experience. In lieu of a degree, 8 years' experience will be considered.
  • Other skills & knowledge:
    • Strong analytical skills, interpersonal, organizational and oral/written communication skills
    • Self-directed, and able to work independently
    • High level of attention to detail
    • Proven ability to meet goals and work at a high performance level
    • Ability to work within a team environment and interacting with management
    • Superior skills in the extraction, merging and transformation of large data sets across systems and databases environments
    • Data analysis skills, with experience in designing analytical approach/methodology, identifying key findings, and producing output for a non-technical audience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: Four year college degree in Information Systems/Technology-related field
  • Experience: Origami Risk or similar Risk Management Information Systems (RIMIS), Healthcare, Claims/Litigation
