The Opportunity: Come join the Adobe Cloud Platforms & Collaboration (ACPC) Services team, one of the most dynamic, fun, and agile teams at Adobe! As part of this team, you'll help lead and improve our collection of next-gen, cloud services, which help ACPC clients build Adobe-wide experiences centered on asset management and collaboration. You'll be challenged with helping Adobe achieve its collaboration vision with assets at scale, as well as provide services that get customers engaged with the creative output from Adobe's applications. ACPC members collaborate across and outside our organization on a wide range of features, fully integrated with front-end teams. We don't just build small pieces of a puzzle in isolation. We understand the workflow from a high level, and that context helps us build the right customer experience. What you'll do:
Inspire, lead and mentor a diverse group of high-performing services engineers, encouraging a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning. Support team members in their professional development. Guide and prioritize development across Java and GoLang web services. Lead projects and teams of people to build exciting new workflows. Empower the team to make feature decisions and development tradeoffs. Organize and manage work streams for internal and external partners. Use data to inform and influence service performance initiatives. Champion for engineering excellence and advocate that our services are built with high quality and scalability in mind. Advocate for quality targets and ensure SLAs are met. Work with external teams to understand and focus their priorities into the team roadmap. Manage customer relationships for public APIs, ensuring we understand their needs and have a backlog reflecting their requests. Drive analytics initiatives for new and existing services.

What you'll need to succeed:
Demonstrable history of team leadership and team building capabilities. A natural ability to lead through ambiguity and provide a cohesive vision for the future. Excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal, with the ability to tailor communication to a wide range of audiences. Problem solving tenacity. Able to drive any issue to conclusion, regardless of complexity. Time management expert. Able to provide clear, direct feedback to team members. Demonstrated ability leading cloud services development. B.S. or Masters in Computer Science or equivalent experience and understanding. History of supporting services in production environments on cloud-hosted infrastructure Experience with a variety of programming languages, with Java and Golang experience a huge plus. Strong technical background with analytical abilities. Knowledge of monitoring tools such as GoCD, Grafana, and Splunk.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $132,700 -- $267,600 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
