Our Company We are seeking an experienced 'hands-on' analytics engineer to join our Enterprise Data & Analytics team within Adobe Technology Services. Enterprise Data & Analytics (EDA) collects, transforms, stores, analyzes, and interprets large amounts of data from various business teams to uncover meaningful insights and patterns. EDA extracts raw data and translates them into actionable insights to drive better decision-making across Adobe's business units, such as Finance, Marketing, and Product teams. In our team, you will be working with innovative data platforms, such as Databricks, and collaborating with other data and analytics engineers. In this role, you will be a lead analytics engineer on the ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue) & Retention Analytics team within EDA. Your main responsibility will be to support business stakeholders in Finance, Commerce & Sales teams as they launch new buying programs and promotional offers to external customers to ensure that ARR & Retention analytics reporting is updated. As you partner with business teams to translate requirements into data models/technical solutions, you will profile data, including analyzing the impact of existing data, as well as prototyping new data, to simulate the ARR reporting changes as if they were live in production. The ideal candidate will have 5-7+ years' experience in analytics engineering or related data engineering roles, including a unique blend of technical data skills, business sense, and the ability to communicate complex data concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. Technical SkillsExpert proficiency in SQL and data modeling. Experience with data warehousing technologies and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) Expertise in analytics and data engineering concepts, tools, and technologies. Proficiency in data transformation tools like dbt (data build tool) a plus Experience with data orchestration platforms (e.g., Airflow, Glue) a plus Knowledge of dimensional modeling and star/snowflake schemas Business Insight, Problem-Solving: Understanding of business processes, preferably in Finance Ability to collaborate with partners and translate business requirements into technical solutions Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to tackle complex problems from both technical and business perspectives. Leadership, Communication:Planning, leading, and delivering data projects Good interpersonal skills for communicating data insights to partners Great documentation & presentation skills Additional Skills: Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI Knowledge of data governance and quality standardsFamiliarity with AI/ML concepts and their application in analytics a plus Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $134,400 -- $252,000 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience.
