The role is part of the In-Space Systems business unit, which is focused on addressing two of the most compelling challenges in spaceflight today: space infrastructure and increasing mobility on-orbit. As part of a hardworking team of diverse engineers, you will be a key player in creating a groundbreaking software simulation testbed. Join our team and be at the forefront of innovation, taking ownership of planning, architectural design, requirements gathering, and certification for the exciting new software simulation testbed. Your expertise will be vital in owning the release planning and management, ensuring every detail is meticulously covered. You'll provide mentorship to both the development and testing teams, guiding them in implementing simulation solutions crucial for the project's success. Moreover, you'll develop sophisticated simulation models that precisely reflect scenarios and craft detailed test scripts to guarantee integration and test events. Collaborate with diverse teammates and valued customers to capture essential requirements, contributing to the creation of a comprehensive testbed for the Blue Ring Spacecraft that supports a wide range of development and operational activities. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and attention towards safe and reliable spaceflight.
