The Global Business Excellence Leader works in collaboration with Operational Excellence and cross functional business partners to assess, improve and streamline existing quality management system (QMS) processes for the efficient execution of key strategic business initiatives. You will serve as the subject matter expert to collaborate and educate cross-functional teams on a local and global scale, create and revise processes and systems, and monitor progress towards the global BusEx strategy.Support digital technology, leads and provides coaching, oversight and direction of the Business Excellence and Six Sigma Training Programs and Kin-Shitsu Projects. Critical aspects of this role include:
- CPM reduction
- Driving operational excellence across factories by partnering with Operations
- Teaching non-factory associates to think about and drive continuous improvement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Accountable for the implementation of the Business Excellence strategy throughout the organization.Includes collaborating with senior leadership to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and targets for process improvement.
- Foster a culture of Business Excellence by providing education & awareness, and standardizing procedures, including root cause and problem solving, Six Sigma, DMAIC, PDCA (Plan-Do-Chack-Act) and any other required methodologies.
- Develop strategies, systems, and tools to drive cost, customer service, and associate satisfaction to World-Class levels.
- Support digital/technology transformation efforts and Center of Laboratory Excellence implementation efforts by participating and inputting into activities such as value stream and process mapping to optimize new and changed process and technologies.
- Lean Thinker that drives the culture with a mindset of Continuous Improvement.Provides leadership and guidance to cross functional teams to deliver site specific improvements.
- Identify, leads, and implement new processes, systems, programs, and operating mechanisms to enhance business excellence culture.Deliver a robust and cost-effective end-to-end process through constant continuous improvement initiatives and mindset.
- Provide Best Practices to other global manufacturing sites to share and learn within the network.
- Maintain the alignment between Process, Customer, and Operational Excellence strategies.
- Leads, coach and provide oversight of 6 Sigma Training Program. Assess system effectiveness to identify unplanned training needs/system gaps. Gathers and analyzes data for monthly reporting regarding metrics, performance, and progress of ongoing projects.
- Works on complex issues where analysis requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
- Keeps updated on recent technical advances within the industry and applies this knowledge to products and processes.
- Contributes to the establishment of business objectives, goals, budgets, and costs as requested.
- Work direction responsibility may include junior engineers.
- May work with manufacturing and other functional groups on manufacturing and regulatory compliance issues.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Education
- Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.
- Master of Science degree in Engineering or Business preferred.
- Training or Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, or other Continuous Improvement training preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 8 years of experience as process, industrial, business process improvement, or similar.
- Prefer Minimum 5 years of GMP and medical devices environment.
- Demonstrated experience teaching continuous improvement, Six Sigma and problem-solving methodologies.
- Proficiency in organizing and leading BusEx efforts to drive continuous improvements.

Target Pay Range:$116,800.00to$146,000.00 -Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data
