We are seeking a client-focused and dynamic Business Line Manager to lead strategic growth and project delivery for our Transportation Business Line in Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transportation design, a proven ability to manage large-scale projects, and experience working with MassDOT.
As a key leader, you will develop and implement growth strategies, spearhead marketing initiatives, and represent the company at industry events. You'll also mentor staff, assess training needs, and support recruitment efforts to build a high-performing team. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a targeted growth strategy for the transportation sector in Massachusetts.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships while supporting technical staff in doing the same.
  • Identify and pursue project opportunities, developing comprehensive client and opportunity plans.
  • Lead proposal development efforts and participate in client presentations and interviews.
  • Represent the company at industry associations, seminars, and networking events to expand market presence.
  • Mentor team members, assess training needs, and introduce relevant technologies to enhance efficiency and expertise.


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering; P.E. in Massachusetts strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in Transportation Design, with a strong focus on highway or bridge projects.
  • Previous experience working with MassDOT is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and managing large-scale transportation projects from inception to completion.
  • Experience in contract negotiations, scope development, and project budgeting.
  • Proactive and strategic thinker, with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
