Overview

General Dynamics Electric Boat VIRGINIA (VA) HM&E Electrical Systems (D426) is looking for an experienced engineer to lead a team of engineers through the systems engineering process. D426 is looking for experienced engineers to support the development of VA Underwater Electromagnetic systems and the VA Integrated Communication System for future and current designs.

The engineer will be responsible for mentoring and training new engineers, leading projects, performing technical reviews, developing schedules, vendor management, communicating with Navy program office and technical personnel, and supporting EB and NNS shipyards through technical design issues.



Qualifications

Required:

    Bachelor's of Science degree or higher in Electrical Engineering
  • Ten plus years of experience in Engineering
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret level security clearance with the DoD


Skills

  • Must have the ability to multi-task and manage technical projects
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to train young engineers
  • Ability to lead a team of engineers
