Description THIS OPPORTUNITY IS REMOTE IN THE PROVIDENCE FOOTPRINT. THE ROLE The Vice President of Revenue Cycle Services Market Operations (VP RCS) works in collaboration with senior leadership to transform revenue cycle into a world-class operation at Providence, one of the largest and most innovative health companies in the United States. This executive provides input on the revenue cycle strategic plan and operational oversight for patient-facing functions including onsite registration, onsite financial counseling, onsite Medicaid screening and enrollment, point-of-service patient collections, and onsite customer service. This executive is responsible for creating a streamlined and technology-enabled patient experience and leads onsite teams who are broadly skilled at helping patients navigate the health system. This executive supports 49 hospitals across Washington, Montana, Oregon, California, Alaska, Texas and New Mexico. The VP RCS must build solid and enduring relationships with internal customers, providing strategic consulting on revenue cycle matters to support growth and operational changes within PSJH hospitals. This executive continually seeks ways and means to innovate the delivery and support of revenue cycle activities, ensuring all business practices are maintained in compliance with federal and state regulatory requirements and aligned across the enterprise. This executive is accountable for achieving revenue cycle performance goals, financial targets and service-level and quality commitments, ensuring that key stakeholders are kept fully informed on performance and important factors influencing it. This executive maintains current knowledge of industry trends and regulatory requirements. The VP RCS must be visionary, strategic, creative and customer-obsessed to advance revenue cycle operations.
